Country music superstar Brad Paisley hit the Tacoma Dome on Valentine’s Day weekend and rocked the house. Opening for him were country new-comers Cam and singer/songwriter Eric Paslay. Paisley used bright lights and videos to enchant his crowd as well as playing multiple guitar solos. His set included fan-favorites such as “Celebrity,” “Water,” “She’s Everything,” “Online,” and his latest single “Country Nation” where he brought out University of Washington’s mascot and their cheerleaders.

Cam played her hit “Burning House”-and the Tacoma Dome was lit up with lights from the crowd’s cell phones. Her bright and cute personality won the crowd over and it was a great way to start the show.

Singer/Songwriter Paslay came out next and played several of his well-known songs, including “Song About a Girl,” “High Class,” and “She Don’t Love You.” Most of the crowd was also surprised to learn that he had written a couple of hit songs for other fellow country singers such as “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” he played those as well.

Once Paslay’s set ended, the Tacoma Dome patiently waited for Paisley to arrive on stage. When the lights went down, the countdown from 30 began and Brad Paisley entered at 0. Over the crowd’s cheers and claps, the intro to his hit “River Bank” could be heard and for the next hour and a half the stage was his.

Paisley dazzled the Tacoma Dome with brilliantly lit set pieces and dozens of guitar solos. He brought out a few surprises including a holographic duet with fellow superstar Carrie Underwood and he even gave away two signed guitars to children in the audience.

Washington will wait until the next time Brad Paisley has a new tour and comes to town, but they can be assured it’ll be one killer show.
