Senior snow makeup day
On Saturday April 22nd, the senior class was asked to participate in a school make-up day, but it was not required. This day was put in place because seniors were short on school days. This day included participating in painting the senior mural, helping clean up the campus and other activities. Seniors that were not be able to attend this day were counted as absent. This senior make-up day was from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. . Most students who went were taught about financing and how teenagers are addicted to their phones through watching a video called Screenagers.
“I think the day was a good opportunity for those who wanted to serve the Central Kitsap Community,” said senior Anastasia Reardon.
“At Saturday School we just chilled and had fun with friends,” said senior Latavia McDaniels.
“Saturday school was weird because it was Saturday and school was in session,” said senior Anastasia Reardon.
June 9th is also a make-up day and will consist of seniors coming back for their diplomas and saying their final goodbyes to favorite teachers and staff, as they set off to their futures.
