I take a bite out of a cake, the flavor pops in my mouth so intensely that I forget that I’m in the middle of a public bakery, eating the free samples.

A new location of Nothing Bundt Cakes has recently opened in Silverdale. The name of the Nevada native bakery speaks for itself, there is nothing other than bundt cakes.

I taste-tested a few of the regular flavors as well as the seasonal flavor for Christmas, Peppermint Chocolate Chip. There are many ways to ring in the season, but these cakes are surely one of my favorite ways.

The Peppermint Chocolate Chip bundt cake leaves a pleasant and refreshing taste after a rich and dense chocolatey bite. For those who really like the chocolate-mint combination, this one won’t last long in the fridge, it certainly didn’t in mine.

For those who prefer lighter flavors, the Lemon cake brings a balance of sourness and sweetness that satisfies the taste buds. The Confetti cake also has a light and fluffy flavor that leaves a great taste in the mouth.

One cake that got me to love this bakery is the White Chocolate Raspberry cake. The flavor of the raspberry puree and white chocolate in the cake goes very well with the cream cheese frosting on top. Actually, I got this one as my birthday cake.

The cake is not the only thing that makes this bakery worth giving a try. The workers are so polite and provide great service to make sure the experience of getting the cake is just as good as eating it.

Nothing Bundt Cakes provides delicious cake and a positive experience that is sure to add to a very merry holiday season. Happy Holidays!
