What’s new at CKHS? Key club just finished selling Yuda bands, which were available in a variety of colors with various designs. The bands are stylish and sold for a good cause. Counselor Michelle Sotelo explained, “The proceeds from the bands are going
to a young man in Guatemala named Jose.”

All of the money is going to be used so he can continue his education, which you can learn more here.  Junior Molly Fischer introduced this opportunity to CKHS, which she heard about when she attended a district conference for Key Club. When describing how the sale went Fischer said, “I wish we could have started earlier, but we had so much support and sales were successful.”

This is just one of the many events Key Club participates in. Key Club meets every other Monday before school at about 7:15 and after school starting at 2:40. Key Club is open to everyone who would like to help their community and is willing to donate their time.
