The Central Kitsap High School Constitution is the guidelines to direct how the Associate Student Body works. In the Constitution, it establishes how the ASB helps with the school. The ASB usually are in charge of the constitution without the help of the administration. The ASB propose changes to it and if there is a red flag in anyway, the administration will look at it.

Over time, the constitution has stayed basically the same every year. The ASB however uses the constitution to help plan events or activities every year because they try to make every school year seem different and fun at the same time with activities such as dodgeball games in the gym and video game night in the library.

It may seem that the constitution is not well known, but quite a few people actually read it. ASB President Ben Huang tries his hardest to make the constitution more known to the student body at lunch and during the announcements.

“The school constitution is very important to read,” said sophomore Celeste Silva.

“I think everyone should read our constitution, it is very informational,” said ASB advisor Katie Staker. The school constitution is important to read because it is the school guidelines and it also states the job requirements of each of the ASB board members who manage the business of the ASB.
