Senior Collin Rose, the guitarist, rocked out during his concert in February.

Raygun Jones is a popular band that is getting more and more notice in the community. Many people do not know that the band members are actually high school students. Two of the artists are enrolled at CKHS: seniors Collin Rose and Cameron Woods. The other member is Jack Moriarity who attends South Kitsap High School. Both Rose and Woods are guitarists, as well as vocalists; they recently dropped an EP called Love, Lust and Other Lies. Some of their most viewed songs on the EP are “Little Miss Fox” and “Your Lack of Effort.” A fun fact about the band is that Raygun Jones was the original name of the now famous Twenty-One Pilots.

“This one time we were performing with another band, they were confused because they thought that Twenty-One Pilots were playing, too,” said Rose.

They often perform in Bremerton at the Charleston, a local music venue where many other local artists play. The band sells t-shirts and other fun items. CD’s are being sold rapidly, with their recent EP drop. “Their music is great to listen to while driving down the road, it has a lot of great guitar solos that are awesome to listen to,” said senior Lexxi Goettsch. They had a concert at the Charleston in February, where many CK students showed up to support the band. There were videos and photos of the band all over social media.
