  Students being late to school is not so much of a shock most times it's because they are waking up late or the buses are late on their route  , however it seems as though the the tardiness at CK high school has gotten worse the past two years since CK has had to tear down the old parking spaces in order to make room for the new school building.     Over the last couple months  there has been an increasing amount of students that are getting tattoos. A poll was conducted to find out what the student body thinks of of these tattoos. New to this state from California is junior Naisa Roman who is 17 and currently taking Journalism. Part of a military family, she has moved around quite a lot with her family who is of Mexican heritage and she is in touch with her Mexican Culture. Senior Aaron Borcherding was born in Bremerton. He likes to spend his free time skateboarding. His favorite food is pepperoni pizza. He said school could be way better if he was at his old school. Senior Janie Brine has big dreams for her future. She hopes to pursue a career in nursing. “I really want to go to Montana State University,” said Brine, “that would be a dream!” She thinks she will likely stay closer to home to avoid out-of-state tuition. Brine spends the majority of her free time getting a jump on her medical learning by helping out with the sports medicine team for different sports at CKHS.
