Issued at 11:40, November 9, 2021, Kitsap County received a tornado alert in effect initially till 12:15. Central Kitsap High School is responding by having all students remain indoors, away from windows and delivering lunches to classes in satellite rooms. 

As of 12:33, the warning was all cleared by local alerts.

Student excitement and anxiety rose high because of the tornado warnings echoing on every personal device in the building, including any Google site a student opens.

Hail and thunder continue to echo through the school, especially on top levels.

Assistant Principal Alex Chertock said the commands over the loudspeaker telling all students to remain indoors.
