The warm days of summer are over, and Washington’s cold rainy weather is back. Students at Central Kitsap High School are now forced to adjust their outfits to the changing climate, while still complying with the school dress code.

Sophomore student Cecelia Zavack spoke out about her style stating, “I like to accessorise with lots of rings, necklaces, and funky socks in the fall.”

The weather this season is chilly, but not as unforgiving as winter. Students can still get away with a cute fall skirt and boots without being miserably cold.

A common trend this year is socks and Birkenstocks, checkered Vans, and the whole vintage look.

“The old school looks are definitely making a comeback” Sophomore Alle Cromwell reveals.

Lots of students have taken to vintage styles, shopping at thrift stores to find unique styles at a low cost. Goodwill has become a popular shopping center, where students can find brands like Patagonia, American Eagle, and even Lucky.

Although old school looks at a low cost are popular, that doesn’t mean the current styles and brands are completely out. Students still rave over brands like Gucci, Supreme, and Lacoste. Designer clothing however expensive, creates a clean professional look that everyone loves.

Central Kitsap High School displays balanced styles from expensive to cheap, but all are inclusive amongst the students.
