PDA is an issue discussed by students almost every week.

A clear example of bad PDA.

PDA is an issue discussed among students and teachers at Central Kitsap High School. PDA stands for Public Displays of Affection. When walking through the halls at school,  Senior Eliana Ewing agrees that most students and advisors are disgusted when other students are found making out in front of their classrooms.

This is good example of accepted PDA

“It’s not really fun to look at,” said senior Damien Saldana.

PDA has been discussed multiple times during school. For example, PDA is talked about on the broadcast and also in class. Some teachers don’t even want to talk about because they find it a dumb topic to talk about but also find it common sense that students should know better.

“It’s not appropriate for the school setting,” said Mrs. Ferrate.

Multiple students have discussed that there should be a rule of no PDA in the halls just because no one would want to see display of affection before walking into class. Other students however don’t really care and should just “let them be”. By let them be, the students mean that they wouldn’t even try to tell the people to stop kissing in the halls because it isn’t their business to.
