American pop and R&B singer and guitarist, Marteen Estevez,  has released a new single called “Sriracha,” in July 2017, following his album “Focused” released in 2016. His fame has given him opportunities to open for artists such as Kehlani, Bryson Tiller and Fifth Harmony. He has signed with Warner Bros. Records in late 2016.

Estevez was born and raised in California’s San Francisco Bay Area. He is the cousin of singer Kehlani, whom he has collaborated with in 2014. His music career began when he was 12, covering his favorite songs of artists on Instagram.

“My music is a modern take on nineties R&B with a little Bay Area edge,” Says 16-year-old Marteen, “Coming from Northern California, you have a certain mentality. It’s an indescribable attitude.”

“Sriracha” was produced and co-written by J.R Rotem. His credits range from Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna to Fall Out Boy and Linkin Park. The songs’ upbeat piano chords and deep baseline turns the song into a fun Lonely Island-esque hit.
