Going through the high school of Central Kitsap, you may run into a wonderful girl name Ally Toms. She is a sophomore and has a bright personality. Eathon Dodson said “she is the smile of the school.” every time he sees Ally walking through the halls, she is always smiling. A decision that Ally has focused her sights on and in is going into the medical field. Her focus on the medical field is her passion to help people and be a sports medic on a professional sports team.

Becoming a sports medic is not always the most positive atmosphere. John Hopkins Medicine did some research and found about 30 million children and teens participate in some form of organized sports in the United States. Out of the 30 million children and teens playing sports, 3,500,000 get injured each year. The people that get hurt the most are caused my sports with contact and collisions.

Ally is involved with activities and service opportunities to help people all around the community. If she isn’t helping out with the community, she likes to hang out with her friends. Elijah Davis, one of Ally’s friends, said that “ she is always fun to hang out with.” Ally loves to hang out in a natural region to be closer with nature. Her favorite is when the sunset sets and she is sitting around at a park or walking at the waterfront in Silverdale.

One of Ally’s interest that got her into being around people is because of her passion for sports and cheer. She commented “having fun and able to help out the people i care about at the same time is like hitting two birds with one stone.” becoming a cheerleader was fun she said but she couldn’t continue with cheer because she lose her drive to continue. An injury that took her out of cheer also was she tore a muscle in her hip.

On the other side of being involved with sports, she is now looking forward to the basketball season coming up. Ally attends all the basketball games to show her support and be on the sidelines ready to help. Her interests in basketball is in her spare time she also goes to a basketball court and shoots for the fun of it. She knows how hard it is to play sports from experience first hand. Nigal Hardee said “I love when i see Ally on the sidelines at the games because i know if anything goes bad, she will be right here to take care of me.”

“I set my eyes on the future and how to make my dream come true” said Ally Toms. Having such a kind heart around the school and going to sporting events is a lot to handle. People have to deal with going to school and worrying about homework. Not Ally because she always finds a way to get through adversity. Madison Wallis, a junior taking classes at Central Kitsap High School, said “She doesn’t let anything get her down and if something is bothering her, she forgets about it and moves on to better things.” With a passion to go great things in the future and wanting to help people dealing with struggles in their life is such a great characteristic in anyone.
