Boys and Girls Lacrosse starts in two weeks, due to Central Kitsap not having a Lacrosse team, the athletes that want to join have to go through and play for Klahowya’s team.

Because the season hasn’t started yet, the teams don’t have a set schedule out for their games. But they do have practice after school from 4:30 to 6:30, at the field by the bus barn, behind Central Kitsap Middle School.

Lacrosse coach Rob Hawley, a two-time Harvard All-American and Washington State Lacrosse Hall of Fame coach, was named the Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association coach of the year for 2016.

“I’ve never been that into sports, but I decided to try it out and I ended up loving it,” says Sophomore Alexia Just. “We continue and become a closer family as the season continues on, then what we were before, at the start of the season. We constantly are supporting and challenging one another.”
