Students on AP Testing
If you took an AP class, you’ll understand the struggle is real.
April 24, 2018
AP Month? More like hell month. The stress of the AP College Board test and the long nights of studying until it feels like you can’t study anymore. Beginning in a little less than two weeks, the non-stop stress of the poor AP students who are trying their hardest to pass the once in a lifetime, ninety-five dollar opportunity to have a college class wavered. In order to do so, you must get a 3 or higher on the College Board Certified AP exam for the class that you took that year.
When asked about the best way to study, Sophomore Caitlin Dellert said “During AP, there’s a lot for after school study sessions that really help me study and prepare for the big test. It’s super stressful, but when I pass and others don’t it’ll be worth it.”
“It’s really cool be even be able to have this type of opportunity because I know a lot of schools aren’t able to, even if I don’t pass the AP test, it was still worth a try and I had a lot of fun in the class, even though it was a little bit of a challenge for me comprehension wise. I’m really glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone and took this class [AP World].”
Below is a copy of the 2018 AP Testing Schedule, most classes will meet at Silverdale United Methodist Church across the street from Panera Bread at your scheduled testing time.
Many people suggest to get a good nights rest the night before, eat a good breakfast and try to stay as calm as you can before and during your AP testing session. Good luck to you all.
