This school year has almost come and gone, and there are certain songs that sum up the memories that have been made this year. There will be a list of songs that tell a story from the beginning of the year and the end of the year.

At the beginning of the school year, it was also the beginning of the end of summer. Summer songs were still a huge hit when the beginning of the school year came along. The first song that was a major hit at the beginning of the year was “Megaman” by KYRO. This was a song that got seniors Collin Smith and Logan Field hype before and after football games.

“I remember after one of the first home games and the game was against Oly, we won and I had Ian Schweiger sit on top of my car blasting “Megaman”. It was pretty tight”, said senior Logan Field.

Another song that was popular at the start of the school year was “Magnolia” by Playboi Carti. This was a song that got kids hyped up walking down the hallways at school.

Coming around the Fall/Winter season a popular song that was going around was “Today” by Trippie Redd. This song talks about someone having a good day and being positive about themselves. The song really put people in a positive mood.

“I really liked this song. Trippie Redd’s song and album put me in a good mood during those months”, said senior Evan Van Pelt.

Around the Springtime, a bunch of new albums by popular artists come out because of the new season and artists know that people would be listening to their albums over Spring break. A few albums that came out during the Spring were “Die Lit” by Playboi Carti, “Beerbongs and Bentleys” by Post Malone, and “Reckless” by NAV.

The “Die Lit” album consists of a bunch of songs that help seniors get excited for all the fun times that are awaiting them in the summer. The “Beerbongs and Bentleys” album and the “Reckless” album consist of some chill songs that give off a mood that can help some students chill after a long day of school or if a student is having a bad day.

“My favorite song from NAV’s album is “Champion”. I don’t really know why I like it but I just think it’s pretty chill”, said senior Reece Wood.

This Summer is going to consist of a bunch of new songs by different artists. Some are going to come before the school year ends and those are the songs that seniors are going to bump to celebrating their graduation and summer to.
