In 2005, CKHS published a literary magazine, filled with stories, drawings, photography, and other art submitted by CKHS students. This year, students are making a website, filled with all of the above, for this year and years of the future.

Reveries will be a website for students to express themselves through their art to other students. The website will be available to view on the fourth of June.

The team is working diligently to get the magazine ready on time, and people have submitted amazing pieces. Ronen Perry and Victoria Steffee are prose editors, editing stories and correcting grammar and spelling mistakes authors may have missed.

“Mrs. Miller and Emily Livengood have done the most difficult work, like buying and setting up the website.” Steffee says. She says that the editors like her and Perry do the little work.

Julian Dorsey is in charge of the setup of the magazine. He reviews submissions and sees if they should be put into the literary magazine. He says that the pieces submitted so far are “all great submissions,” and he sees a lot of time and effort put into each one.

The team has given out fliers to advertise the literary magazine, and Emily Livengood says, “We will probably do more once we get closer to publishing.”
