Rocel Jaravata is a Senior at Central Kitsap High School. She joined Journalism because she wants to get out of her comfort zone and improve her communication skills by interviewing people. Rocel’s hobbies include cooking, biking, and taking pictures of her cat. She enjoys watching Marvel movies and k-dramas. Listening to OPM (Original Pilipino Music) is also one of her favorite things to do mostly because it reminds her of home. Rocel grew up in the Philipppines and speaks fluent Tagalog and can understand Pangasinan and Ilocano (languages spoken in the Philippines).
