Naomi decided to take journalism because she was simply curious about what journalism actually is. She already knew that journalism is a class that involves writing articles, but she didn’t know much else, so when the opportunity rose for her to take the class, she chose to give it a try. Outside of school, she likes to draw, read, and play video games. Her strengths as a student are that she can learn things quickly if she can visually see the process or steps of certain things, taking notes of information she needs to remember, and she turns in assignments in time. A hobby that she has that few people know about is digital art that she does on her phone. Her close friends do know that she does art, but she rarely shows them the digital versions she has made unless she’s especially proud of them.
