Joshua Casey

Joshua Casey is an instrumental pianist who had only started learning and playing the piano a few months before the event. This year’s Battle of the Bands was his first time actually participating. 

“I am excited but also a little nervous,” said Casey. “I’ve always loved music since I was a kid.” 

Casey hopes for people to listen to his music and understand its ability to convey emotion or stories. “Music has meaning, even if it’s hard rock or jazz or anything like that,” said Casey.
