Everyone at CK knows that it has been a long time since CK’s football team has gone undefeated throughout the season, and the Cougs haven’t won state finals since, well .. a few decades ago. The past few seasons have been pretty tough. On top of that, it’s been hard battling against long term rivals, Oly.

Football player Juan Balmedina gave his opinion on the matter: “We were down in the dumps after our loss against Oly, but during the next practice, we let out all our emotions on the field and were pumped for the next game!”

Juan was positive about the team overall. “We have a pretty good team, there’s a lot of talent out. And it shows when we’re out on the field. The football player that seems to be in the limelight is Kendal Yaegle, who was said to be the most inspirational and motivated player on the team.

The team had a “state final” mentality before the season even began. And hopefully their desire yearns deep and the Cougars bring home a championship ring. GO COUGS!
