The Woon That Will Make You Swoon
According to Woon Na, the tennis team has grown a lot since the beginning of the season. They have already played five matches and won two of them. “We play every day and we know each other very well now. Each time we practice we become more friendly towards each other. We are beginning to evolve from a team, to a family,” said Na. He is very excited that he joined tennis and said, “It is probably one of the greatest decisions I have made this year.”
Na said the new coach has been a positive or the team. “The change in coaching has had a great impact on the team. We love the new coach and are very excited for the rest of the season. Many members of the team believe that last year’s coach didn’t put in enough effort and they enjoy the new change.”
It is really hard being a student athlete having to manage sports and academics at the same time. “After school I usually go home and start straight on my homework,” said Na. “Then I head to practice, and after I come home, I do more homework, eat and then go to bed. It’s a tough schedule but I manage to get it done.”
