Although only a sophomore in high school, Lauren Hudson has been very well known for her soccer skills around the state. This year, Hudson has been a big asset in helping Central Kitsap win the Narrows League 3A title and reach the state quarterfinals. Hudson is the Kitsap Sun Girls’ Soccer Player of the Year. In her two years of high school soccer experience, she has scored 30 goals. In Hudson’s first season as a freshman, she scored 14 goals with 10 assists. In her second season, she scored 16 goals and 11 assists. Hudson earned the All-Narrows league 3A Co-MVP as a Lady Coug, making not only her family  proud but her dedicated coach as well.

Lady Coug Hudson said, “I am very honored. As a sophomore I could never have imagined getting this award. I could not have done it without my coaches, teammates, and my family.” Hudson currently plays for Washington Premier, a division one soccer team. She currently has a cumulative of a 3.94 GPA and takes advanced courses at CK. With Hudson’s high school experience with the Cougs ending 2 years from now, Hudson continues to get stronger and become a better player. Coach Webb told the Kitsap Sun she takes great pleasure in Hudson, saying, “She’s just going to get better and better.”
