Hole in one!

Sophomore, Britney Kwon, lines up her club to the golf ball.

CK golf is a fun activity for all students to enjoy. However, it’s very time consuming. The players meet almost everyday and practice what they love to do. On Tuesday and Wednesday they meet at the range and on the other practice days they like to go to the Kitsap County Country Club. This year’s coaches are Mr.Swanberg and Kevin McCarthy. This year Swanberg is retiring. He had a tearful goodbye that had all the students’ hearts at the last spring assembly.

Sophomore, Susannah Terry, a current student in the program, said,“It’s a really fun sport. It’s actually more like a club.”

To her, and to many other students, golf is a perfectionist’s sport. It’s all about the right angle and push. “It’s like a huge family,”Terry. “There’s lots of support from our coaches and not to mention, there’s always good food!”
