Jessica Pitts Youth of the year!

A huge congratulations to Jessica Pitts who is the 2016 Military Youth of the Year in Washington State. Pitts competed in the Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year Competition and won $5000. She will be traveling to California in June to compete regionally for a $10,000 scholarship.  Amerigroup Washington is a supporter of the Washington Boys & Girls Club. Out of the 14 nominees, Pitts placed first and was named Youth of the Year. She said that this award “means a lot; my story’s out to help others and to inspire others.”

After high school she plans on attending Brooklyn College to study psychology. She is not planning on joining the military anytime in the future.
