CK Volleyball comes out strong
Varsity Volleyball took a hard loss against Capital. They won the first two sets, 27-25 and 26-24. The Lady Cougs lost the last three sets, 8-25, 19-25, and 12-15. The girls came out strong in the first two sets and made it seem there was no hope for Capital to win the game.
The CK Cougs had a two set lead over the Capital Cougars and almost had a guaranteed win. Unfortunately, the opposing Cougars came back and won the next three sets to take the win at CK. There were a lot of spikes and out of bound shots by both teams but they both played extremely well. “I thought they played pretty well, but I also thought it looked fun from the bench. Better luck next game,” said junior Molly Phillips.
“We could have executed keeping the ball in better. But we definitely played hard, we came out strong and I hope we can continue this intensity through the rest of the season,” said Senior Bryce Anderson.
“ I think we will definitely make it to districts if we keep working hard,” said Senior Summer McDermed.
