Career and Technical Education is a very broad name for classes which teach hands-on skills. Skills USA is a program which rewards students in those classes who excel in their field of skill, such as programming, animation, design, etcetera. Central Kitsap has had 82 championships for Skills USA. CK also has a national nominee this year, Samantha Miller, who has already been awarded for best in the state for Programming.

The CTE Awards are a skills competition that broadens over many different types of skills and career talents. Senior Samantha Miller received 2nd place in Programming, following senior Alex Johnson who earned first.

CKHS has many students involved in CTE skills, and many students have competed through animation and additive manufacturing, the use of 3D printers. Skills USA is a national competition, and CK has produced many students who have more than excelled in  CTE skills. CKHS has had championships for Web Design, Computer Programming, Additive Manufacturing, and many more in Skills USA.
