March 16 Forum
The March forum on the sixteenth featured free cookies and lots of good information. People were also welcome to speak out about ideas. Teachers and students got together to talk about school dances, suggestions for extracurriculars, ASB elections, classroom technology and suggestions for course offerings, etc. People talked about what needed to be changed for school dances, and what they could do to make them better — for example better music, and maybe adding fun activities like games.
Senior Tiarra Trail said, “The majority of the forum we talked about school dances, and we focused a lot on what happened at Tolo. Teachers/ supervisors did not know how to deal with the grinding and everything that was happening, so they made everyone wear wristbands and if you got marked three times you’ll get kicked out. Basically, everyone came to the conclusion to keep Tolo next year the same as this year.”
