Promposals entertain with a purpose
Central Kitsap High School has had many memorable Promposals throughout the years, and that has continued in 2017. This year senior Kelley Blue asked junior Andrea Pantig with four fellow students: seniors Melodie Boydstun, Madi Connor, Eliana Ewing, Ariana Shindell, all holding signs that spelled out “Babygirl for nine months you’ve highlighted my life, now lend me yo hand for this one special night, you know that I love you, I think you the bomb, please be my date to 2K17 prom” lining the secondary entrance of the school, which drew quite the crowd!
Fellow senior Jayson Hew-Len arranged an extravagant scavenger hunt for graduate Yasmin Escobar Moreno that went throughout all of Silverdale from Bremerton Waterfront to Clear Creek trails and the beach by Gordon, retracing the many memories they had made throughout their relationship, ending at the Silverdale waterfront.
Senior Elizabeth Bullman asked fellow senior Jason Cox with a sign which said, “The first thing that goes through my mind when I hear about promposals is just ‘Oh my god that’s so cute! They’re just so exciting and fun to see and hear about!’” Bullman added, “There’s just so much planning and thinking you have to do to get it perfect and when you know it’s coming up, it’s just crazy to think about!”
