Save Your Piggy Banks, Apply For Scholarships
There are many different scholarships that anyone can apply for!
October 3, 2017
Many people seem to be under the impression there are only two kinds of scholarships: athletic and academic. If you don’t fall within those categories, you should not fear.
Your “downfalls” can in fact be nothing more than “slight inconveniences in the always bumpy road to college,” according to one anonymous source. They applied for dozens of scholarships, enough to pay for a majority of their entire education!
“All it takes is some work,” they said.
There are entire websites dedicated to these simple scholarships, one of which is Unigo.
Unigo hosts it’s own brand of scholarships, including one for 10,000 dollars. To get that scholarship?
You have to write a Tweet. No really! Submit 140 characters of what you would tweet if you were elected President. As you can tell by life example, it isn’t that hard. Submissions are due December 31.
If that isn’t to your liking, then you can make an ad! Comedy Defensive Driving hosts a biannual scholarship to campaign against distracted driving.
A 1,000 dollar promise, you can submit an ad of any kind: billboard, radio, magazine, anything you want! As long as you submit by the due date (also December 31) you have a chance of winning.

“That’s a real scholarship?!” one student exclaimed when told about the 10K tweet. They were bewildered!
“Literally anyone can do that.”
