Black Panther, Notoriously called the movie of the century came out February 16th,2018. It blew up the box office in the opening week crossing $700 million setting box office records. It has been a highly anticipated movie for all Marvel lovers.

The plot of the movies starts off centuries ago when five african tribes battle over a meteorite that contains the universe’s most powerful metal. A warrior ingests a herb that was in the splash area of the meteorite and gains superhuman abilities. After the warrior gains this super human power he stops the war of the five tribes and unites them all except the Jabari Tribe forming the nation of Wakanda. In 1992, the current king of Wakanda king T’Chaka visits his brother N’Jobu who is working undercover in Oakland, California. T’Chaka accuses his brother of assisting black market arms dealer Ulysses Klaue with stealing Vibranium from Wakanda. N’Jobu’s partner reveals that he is Zuri a undercover Wakandan and confirms the kings suspicions and kills his brother.

In the present day, following the death of the king, his son T’Challa returns to Wakanda to assume the throne. In the ceremony of being crowned king before they crown T’Challa  the tribesman ask if anyone would like to challenge him for the crown. The leader of the Jabari tribe, M’Kabu steps forward to challenge T’Challa for the crown in ritual combat. T’Challa defeats M’Kabu and is crowned the new king of Wakanda. In the following days they track down a notorious enemy to Wakanda named Ulysses Klaue also known as Klaw. Klaw has been stealing Vibranium from the Wakandans for years, which is a problem because the abundance of Vibranium is what allowed the Wakandans to develop superior technology, and they wanted to keep their prosperity a secret, allowing the world to think they were an impoverished country. King T’Challa decides to try to finish what his dad started, going on a mission to try to capture or kill Klaw. The Black Panther goes on a mission to try and capture him, a lot is found out while trying to find him but you have to see the movie to find out what happens next.

The plot to Black Panther is amazing any action movie lover would surely love this movie. The CGI is amazing they made everything look so smooth and well put together along with the graphics they are amazing as well but in my opinion almost all new marvel movies look really good. The actors in this move all did perfect in my opinion it was like they were made to do their part in the movie. When I saw the movie I was actually looking to see if any bad acting would pop up or if anything seemed off in the film but everything ran really smooth I didn’t see any flaws in the acting.

The movie is also seen as revolutionary in the Black community. They are seeing the movie as a new era for black Superheroes. They just like seeing someone other than a white man or women being a superhero and think it is really cool to see a African American superhero up there.

Rotten tomatoes rated Black Panther a 97% and they rarely ever rate this high because it’s not just taking the rating from one company they take it from other companies and the audience as well. So getting a 97% is really hard to get and Black Panther got that. I personally would rate this movie five out of five stars. I just really loved the acting the Special effects and the graphics, like I said everything was so smooth in the movie it didn’t seem like there were any flaws or anything out of place. The big thing that marvel does so well and that I love is the graphics. If a movie does not have good graphics then I either won’t like the movie or I just won’t see it.
