Jonathan Beil is a Senior at Central Kitsap High School. He chose Journalism because of its unique angle on an English class that promotes creativity and less structure. Jonathan enjoys the outdoors and likes fishing, backpacking and camping. His favorite movie is Catch Me If You Can due to his ingenuity and realistic acting. Jonathan’s strengths are in math/science and he plans to make a career in that path.

Central Kitsap School Board Meets in Study Session on Sexual Health and Education Curriculum for CK

The board met at the new CK Silverdale Center and started with a brief overview of the sex education standards currently in place. They explained Washington state requires Social Emotional Learning (SEL) for K-3, and comprehensive sexual health instruction starting in either Grade 4 or 5 through Grade 12.
