Calvin Lumadue, CKHS senior director and solo guitarist of this year’s Battle of the Bands

“Starting it like it was, There wasn’t anything before this for anyone who wasn’t in a band or orchestra or anything like that, they didn’t have a show to show what they can do, and this kind of event gives people that opportunity,” said Lumadue, “[When] making a new song  you have a certain point where you just think about it the whole time, you have to feel emotions of what you’re doing instead of just this is kind of cool with it, And then you just got to have a certain feeling everytime you play the song.”

Also stating before the event “I look forward to just being on that stage, there is no other feeling like playing in front of the crowd.”
