‘The Rev’

In third place for the band category of the battle of the bands, a metal music focused group calling themselves “The Rev.” The band consists of James Taylor as their bassist, Abby Potter on the piano, Pedro Serrano as the guitarist, and Hunter Ask playing the drums. Due to their placement, they gained the chance to play as the opening act at the Music Fest Festival.

“At first, I was talking with Mr. Brenner about what music we like and how I play instruments and he was like, ‘oh, you should totally do the battle of the bands,” said Ask.

Two months before the event, the group  grew from Ask, with Serrano joining, then Taylor, and finally then Potter to round themselves off just a few weeks before the event.
