“Not really the best,” said freshman Xavier Anderson about the team’s performance. “We had a lead, we came in with confidence, but we got a little shaken up, especially in the second half.”

The Cougars kept a lead for the first half of the game, leaving the 2nd period with 41 over the Knights’ 24. However, Bremerton picked up their game in the second half ending the 3rd period with Cougars 50 and Knights 44.

“I think we played a pretty good game,” said freshman Deion Collins. “I think Bremerton did pretty well too, but we just came up with the W in the end.”

In the last few seconds of the 4th period, the Cougars and the Knights were tied 60-all until CK pulled through with a layup, ending the game against Bremerton with a win.

“Now, we had a good lead but we kind of lost it, but in the end we ended up getting the W, and that’s what matters,” said freshman Grant Heinze.
