Allie Lewis, Reporter

Allie is a Junior at CKHS this year, and is first time reporter for the Cougar Chronicle. Allie became interested in taking the Journalism class when she found out about the investigative aspects, and how she would have the freedom to write from her choice. She felt the class would help promote future writing skills as well as helping to form a platform for the voices of youth of all backgrounds to express themselves, helping connections from within the community. As a student, Allie uses time management and organization to maintain her grades and allow her the time to participate in extracurricular activities. Outside of school, Allie spends most of her time playing volleyball, from the school season to select volleyball, she plays the whole year round, while making time to hang out with her friends and staying on top of her academic studies. Allie’s favorite class is usually math, and she hopes to apply this love to a future career in Astrophysics, or astronomy in the planetary sciences.
