Winter Sports Report

Winter sports are coming to a close. Our Cougars trained and fought hard to accomplish team goals and individual goals. The boys’ basketball team has battled their schedule with their heads up, but right now are behind with a (6-7) record; they still have 7 games left . “Our team has talent and we leave it all out on the court, plus we are a fun team to watch. We can make it to the playoffs,” said junior DeAndre Sincere. Everyone wants to make play offs, but to get there, everyone has to accomplish their own goals, get more rebounds, play more aggressive defense, get more free throw points, hit more 3’s in crucial moments, or drive harder for a layup. With more games, there comes opportunity. They are always looking to get better and still have a chance to make it in the playoffs...
