The Life of an Instrumentalist
Senior Marshall McCord said the life of a band person is crazy, from the big responsibilities to just having complete fun.”The thing I like about band is the experience of going to different places across the state,” McCord said. Learning how to play an instrument not only takes time and patience, but playing with other people and sounding as one takes an even bigger part of your time and an even bigger commitment. Band members have to sound in harmony with each other.
Other than the duty to practice and work on an instrument, band members also form a family. Over the period of time they spend a lot of time with fellow instrumentalists, becoming close. Over all McCord enjoys the life of being a band member.
