Jasmine San Juan (She/Her) is the current Executive Vice President of Central Kitsap, and is heavily involved in a multitude of other clubs such as STOP Club, Kitsap AAPI, Key Club, National Honors Society, Link Crew, and Environmental Club. Due to her passion in writing as well as educating oneself on current events, Jasmine felt that Journalism would be an exceptional class in order to excel her skills. A dominant component in Jasmine’s life includes having a partnered Senior Portrait Photography business, known as San Juan Portraits & Photography Services, with her twin sister, Jacqueline San Juan, where they capture portraits for high schoolers across Kitsap County. As for post-high school plans, Jasmine hopes to have a career in the STEM field, and either pursue environmental engineering or work in the healthcare field as a physician’s assistant. On the side, Jasmine would like to make extra money by implementing real estate or continuing a photography service business as a subsidiary priority. Overall, Jasmine is enthusiastic to be a part of the Cougar Chronicle and present notable stories for the public to read!
