New girl country duo Maddie & Tae have exploded on to the country charts with their debut album Start Here. The girls have created a unique, fun, and loving sound that will hopefully attract many youngsters and adults. The duo were the first females to have their lead single reach No. 1 since 2006. The #1 song titled “Girl in a Country Song” humorously criticizes what is known as “Bro-Country.” Some other fun tracks include “Shut Up and Fish” and “Right Here, Right Now,” while slower tunes consist of “Smoke” and “Fly.”

The duo co-wrote every single track on their debut album and have opened for Dierks Bentley this summer, as well as performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Maddie & Tae’s “Start Here” is overall a very fun and positive album and country fans should look forward to watching the career of these two young ladies take off and “Fly.”
