New York Giants vs Philadelphia Eagles

One of few old school running backs, Cam Skattebo went down with an ankle break in this game and watching that happen to “Mr. CTE” was heartbreaking. On top of that, the New York Giants lost, 38-20 Philadelphia. I’m not a NY fan, but I feel bad for them.

After Eli Manning left, it’s just been sad. Now they have Jaxon Dart and Cam Skattebo for the next coming years and for Skattebo to go down this early in his career is not fun to see. New York’s defense seemed to be like paper as well, allowing 150 yards on the ground, 179 yards in the air, and five touchdowns in total.

Make sure to check on your friends that are fans of the New York Giants, they will need it.

Los Angeles Chargers vs Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings fly to Los Angeles to take on the LA Chargers in their beautiful navy blue uniforms. Justin Herbert, in much better uniforms than last week, threw for three touchdowns and 227 yards, which is not bad at all. Minnesota on the other hand can’t seem to get much going on offense.

This game was pretty one-sided with a final score of 37-10 LA. For a team that was all the hype last year, like the Lions, they may now unfortunately be out of their championship window.

Denver Broncos vs Dallas Cowboys

Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos played at home against Dak Prescott the Dallas Cowboys in the mile high city. With a final score of 44-24 Denver, it’s good to see Nix do well in Denver. This game, he threw four touchdown passes and handed the ball off of two touchdowns to R.J Harvey.

Denver was sporting their beautiful throwback uniforms against Dak Prescott. I guess Prescott wished he played for Denver as he threw dimes to the defense. Two interceptions and a 19/31 completion rate. “Here we go” to a 3-4-1 season so far for the veteran.

Buffalo Bills vs Carolina Panthers

The Buffalo Bills fly down to take on the Carolina Panthers in the beautiful “Power Blue” uniforms. Unfortunately for Andy Dalton, his Carolina team had no power at all. With a final score of 40-9 Buffalo, this game was more one sided then a brick and feather on a scale.

Josh Allen decided this would be the game he does everything, rushing and passing for two touchdowns. Allen alone scored more touchdowns by himself than the entire Carolina team. That’s either a testament on how bad Carolina is or how good Allen is.

Cleveland Browns vs New England Patriots

Oregon University alumni Dillon Gabriel and the Cleveland Browns flew to New England to take on sophomore QB Drake Maye with the New England Patriots. Maye continues to show how underrated he is, throwing for 18/24 and three touchdowns. Myles Garrett had an insane five sacks in one game which broke the franchise record for most sacks in a single game.

With a final score of 32-13 New England and a 6-2 record, I can’t possibly think of any other New England QB that has ever been better in the entire Patriots history.

Tennessee Titans vs Indianapolis Colts

The Tennessee Titans might save the New York Jets from the “worst team” title and this game made me realize that we, as fans, owe the Indianapolis QB an apology. Daniel Jones really wasn’t the problem in New York. This game he threw for three touchdowns and a 21/29 completion average.

With a final score of 38-14 Indianapolis, Jones is actually looking like a model QB. The media clowned him, especially after he tripped over nothing a few years back. With the season he’s been having, maybe he wasn’t the problem after all.

Miami Dolphins vs Atlanta Falcons

Tua Tagovailoa remembered how to play football this week and threw for four touchdowns, 20/26 completion ratio and 205 yards. Meaning he averaged about 10 yards for every pass he completed. He also spread the ball around all of his receivers.

Jaylen Waddle, Malik Washington, De’Von Arcane, and Ollie Gordon II all caught one touchdown each. This team looked like they knew what they were doing for once this season. Hard to believe now that this team is responsible for scoring 70 points in one game in the 2023 season.

Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Jets

The New York Jets find a creative way to win. By one point, the New York Jets beat the Cincinnati Bengals 39-38. New York was doing so well, in fact, even their star running back, Breece Hall, threw for one touchdown.

Unlike Cooper Kupp, this now means that statistically, with a 100% completion rate, 100% touchdown rate, the New York Jets’ Breece Hall, is the best “Passer” in the NFL right now. For a team that is 1-7, a win is a win.

Washington Commanders vs Kansas City Chiefs

The Washington Commanders flew out to Kansas City to take on Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and the referees as always. With a final score of 28-7 Kansas City this game was not as one sided as I thought it would be. Marcus Mariota of Washington didn’t do too bad throwing for 213 yards and a ratio of 21/30.

Being born right outside of Washington D.C, the Commanders are my second favorite team. My fantasy team and my support for this team needs Daniels to come back from his injury. The LSU Alumni is one of the few saving graces of this team and now they are 3-5 on the season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take a trip to the Bayou to take on Spencer Rattler and the New Orleans Saints. This game did not seem to be very difficult for Tampa Bay. On the other sideline, New Orleans went through two quarterbacks who each threw for an interception and under 140 yards.

Chicago Bears vs Baltimore Ravens

USC Heisman winner Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears flew to the land of blue crab to take on the Baltimore Ravens. Despite Baltimore missing their star MVP Lamar Jackson, they still managed to beat Chicago, which is not an entirely hard thing to do these days. With a final score of 30-16 Baltimore, Chicago is lucky that Jackson is out.

Unfortunately I had both Jackson and Daniels on my fantasy team so this season is a sign for me to stop drafting people based off of the fact they are from my home state. Maryland football is not in good shape at the moment.

Green Bay Packers vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Ban bright yellow from the entire NFL. Green Bay’s old uniforms, LA’s banana uniforms, now Pittsburgh. What on earth is going on? What disgusting trend am I missing out on?

With a final score of 35-25 Green Bay, Pittsburgh deserved a loss with those disgraceful uniforms. Maybe I just hate the color yellow. Jordan Love managed to throw for three touchdowns, 360 yards and a completion ratio of 29/37.

This is a good performance from the Green Bay QB but when the game plan is “only throw good looking uniforms,” I can’t imagine that being difficult.

San Fansico 49ers vs Houston Texans

The San Francisco 49ers fly down to Houston to take on CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans. As a Mariners fan, I hate any and everything about Houston. But as a Seahawks fan, I hate any and everything about San Francisco, so this game was terrible no matter who won. With a final score of 26-15 Houston, it was nice to see the 49ers do bad.

Mac Jones threw for 19/32 completion rate, 193 yards, and two touchdowns. As much as my baseball fan heart hates Houston, it was nice to see that Stroud threw for 30/39 and a very impressive 318 yards. For the mediocre season that Houston has had, not bad.
