From hosting movie nights, to having tailgate parties and devoting a whole day to making friends, upperclassmen spend a lot of their time helping freshmen feel welcome and at home at CK. Link Crew is a great way to learn leadership and the friend-making skills you need for life. Link Crew’s main motivation is to make our freshmen feel like they belong at CK.

CK Link Leaders meet in the portables with drama teacher Brian Sullivan and social studies teacher Catherine Miller once a month to discuss what events they’re hosting next. Bailee Barrick, a current link leader, said she “definitely made friends through link crew.”

“I think link crew helps the freshmen get along and feel more comfortable,” said freshman Ben Rogers. “And it helps you get to know the other freshmen in your grade.”

According to Brayden Howard, another current link leader, the best event is “Movie Night. There’s movies, and food!” What’s not to love about that?
