The CKHS lady Cougars’ Volleyball team dominated the Peninsula High School Seahawks on September 29th, winning three sets to none. After winning the first set 25-18, CK fell behind Peninsula 0-7 but recovered with scoring serves and aces by senior Summer McDermed, sophomore Gabby Everman, and senior Katie Downey. In an attempt to stifle the fantastic serves and plays by the Cougars, the Seahawks called a timeout. The timeout did not stop senior Bryce Anderson’s 8 point serving streak, making the score 17-12.
After dominating the Seahawks in the second set, the Cougars gather for a huddle and celebrate their victory and teamwork so far.
