Senior Marcus Stoudermire is ready for his senior year. Stoudermire is number 70 and plays defensive tackle. He says “It’s a fun sport to me I’ve always been intrigued by the game and I really enjoy playing with my teammates.” He has been playing ever since he was young for PeeWees and throughout junior high.

When he was younger Stoudemire played for North Perry PeeWees in East Bremerton, and went on to play at Ridgetop Junior High. Stoudermire went through an injury in 8th grade that put him out for two years, and was not able to continue for his freshman and sophomore year. In the mid-season of his junior year he tried out, made the team and got cleared by his doctors to play.

One of the most memorable games for him this year was Battle of Bucklin hill against Olympic High School. “Every year it’s always fun to play them, but it was even better that we won.” he said. One of the hardest teams they have gone against this year so far was Timberline High School. “They are a tough team and have a lot of players.”

Stoudermire plans to play in the future for his career. He either plans on going to a community college for two years, then to a four year university where he hopes to play. Or if he gets any scholarships he will consider choosing a team to play for.
