Tennis Anyone?

The CK Girls Tennis team is focusing on getting better. After some rough seasons, the girls are doing what they can to improve their performance and start the journey towards state. After losing some good players, such as senior Andrea Pantig and junior Emily Hanneman, the girls are doing their best this year.

“The team’s going to need some work, but with the effort we’re putting in, I think we’ve got a good shot at going far this year,” said team captain Ericka Black “It’s hard since we lost so many good players but we’ll push through.

With the loss of many seniors and the surge of new inexperienced players, the team has had to adjust to a new team and environment. “It’s going to be hard but I think if the seniors and veteran players do their best helping the new players, we’ll be alright” said Black. The girls tennis team was known to be a tightly knit team and more like a family then a team, with help of the captain and veteran players the team is set for improvement.
