New staff member: Matt Clouser
Job: Assistant Principal
Matt Clouser was a science teacher last year at Thomas Jefferson High School in the Federal Way District. The school year is going great for him, and thinks CK has the most dedicated individuals out there. “Whether it’s improving school climate, putting on a production, or problem solving, you can count on people in the building.”
New staff member: Susan Hicks
Job: Office Assistant
Susan Hicks is new to the CK staff but has lived in Washington before. She previously worked at a high school in Twin Falls, Idaho but is very excited to start here at CK. “The staff and students are very warm and friendly,” said Hicks. “Everyone here has made me feel very welcomed.”

New staff member: Lizzy Martin
Job: Counselor (L-Ri)
Lizzy Martin was formerly a counselor at North Mason High School in Belfair for five years. She transferred over to CK because it is a shorter commute and has heard great things about the school. She is really excited to be a part of the new staff, “There is a high level of professionalism at CK but also a lot of fun too!”
