The Central Kitsap lady cougars played against Gig Harbor for their second time on Oct. 17. With a win of 2 to 1, the captains Lindsey Chaffee and Lauren Hudson led them to victory, as well as coaches, Vicky Webb, Patrick Leonard, and Jan Vincent.

This game was the second to last time that they would be playing at the home stadium at Olympic High School, the rest will be away games. At the last game against Gig Harbor, the girls soccer team lost to them 6-1. Autumn Mullins, varsity team player, said “It feels very good to win, we should have beat them the first time”. Gig Harbor was undefeated until the lady cougars beat them this Tuesday night. It was getting to be a pretty rough game by the end of it, Gig Harbor was trying very hard to catch up but never did.

For most of these girls it was one of their last times playing in High School, team captain Lindsey Chaffee  said, “I am going to miss the high school season, going to miss my teammates and I’m going to miss playing with them”. Wish the lady cougars good luck on their upcoming endeavors.
