Golf Season is coming up right around the corner. With the season changing, the boy’s golf team is ready to hit the courses. Students have been very excited for the season to start for months. Even though there are no practices before the season, students can find last year’s student golfers for tips for tryouts.

“Yeah you can practice on your own or with other golfers before the season starts because there aren’t any until the season starts”, said junior Collin Beil.

With the guidance of Coach Kevin McCarthy, he and his senior golfers would help the team to good successful season. With being third in the league last year, the team has potential to do very well.

“Honestly I cannot wait for the season to start”, said senior Logan Jacobson.

The tryouts for the season is on Feb. 26th at Gold Mountain Golf Course at 3:15 right after school. The cuts will be on March 1st and 2nd. The requirements for tryouts is having the paperwork filled out and having your own set of golf clubs and balls. So Cougs if you’re trying to be on the Golf team this year, contact Mr. McCarthy and be prepared for tryouts.
