In the Eyes of a Football Player
CK on September 30th took on the Gig Harbor Tides, CK being the home team at Silverdale Stadium. As the excitement of the game was building up for the fans, junior Tristan Barr said he’s been playing football “for a long time. Since third grade so like eight years.” He also noted, “Gig Harbor is pretty good, the quarterback is a dual threat, so it makes the game even tougher.”
The game started off awesomely for CK, as Barr scored two touchdowns before halftime. He scored one of the touchdowns during the first two quarters when Barr intercepted a pass.He then ran towards the in-zone and scored a touchdown, followed by a field goal. After fighting non-stop, the Cougars gave in to defeat, and Gig Harbor won.
