Delaney McCorkle, Editor-in-Chief

Delaney McCorkle is a sophomore at CKHS this year and serves as the Chronicle’s co-Editor-in-Chief.  A longtime writer, Delaney hopes to build writing, leadership, and interpersonal skills in Journalism, as well as improving and promoting a platform for student voices within CK. She is also interested in learning more about podcasting, as a longtime listener of many fiction podcasts. As a student, Delaney utilizes organization and dedication to maintain grades and reach academic goals, striving to reach her personal best.  Delaney participates in several CKHS clubs, including Art Club and Enviro Club, and helps care for the CKHS garden.  Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, artistic endeavors, and rock climbing.  In addition to writing journalistically, Delaney also writes creative fiction and poetry, and identifies as an avid reader and a lover of the written word.
