Ellie Larsen Staff Profile

Ellie Larsen, Reporter, Assistant Editor

Senior Ellie Larsen, originally joined Journalism as a Sophomore looking for her own niche. As part of the leadership team she enjoys developing relationships with and motivating individual staff members. As a writer Larsen loves breaking news and investigative writing, the rush of the tight deadline is what she came into the program looking for. Holding the Position of Assistant Editor the past two years, Larsen is able to find the perfect balance between her love of writing and developing relationships with the staff. Outside of her Journalism commitments, Larsen has been a part of STOP Club, holding the positions of Vice President and President before ultimately deciding to abolish leadership positions. She is a passionate advocate and environmentalist, she hopes to raise further awareness to those issues through her writing with The Cougar Chronicle. After high school, Larsen has considered a career in Journalism but has not decided yet. Either way Journalism will continue to have an impact on her college experience whether it’s writing for her college newspaper or going into Journalism.
